On August 4, 2023, Ma Yiming, an expert from the Heat Exchanger Sub-Technical Committee of the National Boiler and Pressure Vessel Standardization Technical Committee and Deputy Chief Engineer at Gansu Lanke, visited our company for a technical exchange.

Chief Engineer Li Mingkai presented the company’s recent achievements in areas such as heat exchanger product R&D, manufacturing technology, and quality control. Professor-level Senior Engineer Ma Yiming praised Wuhan Donghai for its accomplishments in developing and marketing heat exchanger products over the past years, as well as for its significant contributions to the drafting of NB/T10938-2022, the "Braided Tube Heat Exchangers" standard. Both sides engaged in an in-depth discussion covering topics like the implementation of heat exchanger technical standards, analysis of industry-leading case studies, the application of cutting-edge technologies, and robust quality assurance and management practices.

In the afternoon, Professor-level Senior Engineer Ma Yiming delivered a lecture and engaged in interactive discussions with company personnel from R&D, technology, process engineering, quality inspection, and quality assurance teams. He focused on the implementation requirements of the GB/T 151-2014 standard "Heat Exchangers," as well as its comparative analysis with other standards such as ASME, TEMA, EN 13445, and API 660. During the session, he also provided an update on the ongoing revision work already initiated for GB/T 151.

Following this exchange event, the company’s technical staff have deepened their understanding and awareness of GB/T151. Through interactive Q&A sessions and a presentation on ongoing revision efforts, the initiative has bolstered the company’s ability to advance R&D and design capabilities for heat exchanger products, as well as enhance quality control measures. Ultimately, this will significantly strengthen the company’s capacity to reliably meet market demand for heat exchanger products.
