      Recently, Wuhan East Petrochemical Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. ("Wuhan East") and Germany's GESMEX have officially signed an authorized cooperation agreement. The two parties have established a deep partnership on the joint production, sales, and technical services of the XPS laser-welded plate-and-shell heat exchanger product line. They will work together to provide domestic and international customers with more comprehensive and efficient heat transfer solutions, driving the upgrading of the heat exchanger equipment industry.

Wuhan East’s spiral-wound heat exchangers excel in extreme conditions involving ultra-high temperature and pressure, multi-stream flows, and ultra-large heat transfer areas, with a single unit capable of reaching up to 30,000㎡, making them ideal for large-scale energy and chemical plants. In contrast, GESMEX’s XPS plate-and-shell heat exchangers stand out in medium-to-high temperature and pressure applications, waste heat recovery, small-to-medium scale energy storage, and reboiler/condenser services. Their compact design and high efficiency cater to the demand for small-to-medium equipment (1-1,000㎡ per unit), perfectly complementing Wuhan East’s existing product portfolio.

        Under the agreement, the two parties will adopt a "German Technology + Made in China + Localized Service" cooperation model. They will leverage GESMEX’s core technology of original laser-welded plate packs and combine it with Wuhan East’s strengths in heavy equipment manufacturing to complete final assembly in Wuhan. This process will strictly adhere to German quality standards and Wuhan East’s own quality management system to ensure the products meet international benchmarks.

        Furthermore, by utilizing Wuhan East’s nationwide sales and service network, the partnership will offer customers a 24-hour rapid response service, reducing procurement and operational costs while shortening project timelines. The collaboration will also fully capitalize on Wuhan’s logistics advantages and the RCEP tariff reduction policies to jointly develop both domestic and international markets in tandem with GESMEX’s global partners.
