Professorial Team from Xi'an Jiaotong University and Industry Experts Visit Wuhan Donghai to Jointly Explore the Technological Development of High-Efficiency Heat Exchangers

On February 6th, the research team led by Professor Bai Bofeng from the State Key Laboratory of Green Hydrogen Energy and Electrochemistry of Xi'an Jiaotong University, together with Zhou Wenxue, a renowned expert in the heat exchanger industry, were invited to visit Wuhan EPHE. Li Junsong, Chairman of the Board, led the company's core management and technical teams to receive the expert delegation.
At the forum, Wuhan EPHE presented its in-depth development journey in the spiral-wound tube heat exchanger sector, as well as the latest progress in engineering applications and technological R&D. Xi'an Jiaotong University shared its cutting-edge research achievements in such fields as multiphase flow in power engineering, high-efficiency phase-change heat transfer, hydrogen energy storage, supercritical CO₂ energy storage, heat exchanger energy efficiency evaluation, and life-cycle equipment safety assessment. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the R&D of integrated technologies combining molten salt energy storage, heat storage & energy storage with high-efficiency heat exchange equipment. Drawing on decades of experience in the heat exchanger industry, expert Zhou Wenxue provided guidance on the frontier technologies and development trends of high-efficiency heat exchangers by integrating Wuhan EPHE's existing technological achievements, and put forward suggestions for industry-university cooperation and the integration of production, education, research and application between Wuhan EPHE and Xi'an Jiaotong University under the guidance of the "Dual Carbon" strategy.
This exchange featured a lively atmosphere and fruitful outcomes, mapping out a clear direction for Wuhan EPHE to further deepen its layout in the heat exchanger field, upgrade the green development level of its products, and advance the R&D and upgrading of product energy efficiency and heat network system integration technologies. All parties involved will maintain continuous communication and exchanges in the follow-up, promote cooperation in energy storage, multiphase flow reaction, heat exchanger energy efficiency evaluation and other aspects, accelerate Wuhan EPHE's construction and consolidation of new productive forces, and realize high-quality development.
