Wuhan EPHE Successfully Completes ASME U & U2 Certificate Renewal

         Recently, Wuhan East Petrochemical Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. officially received the new ASME U & U2 certificates. The company first obtained the ASME U certificate in 2011 and added the U2 certificate in 2022. Adhering to the standard requirements and pursuing superior quality for more than a decade, the company has successfully passed the special joint review by the ASME and accomplished the fifth certificate renewal review with a perfect score in one go.

       The joint review was conducted from December 25 to 26, 2025, with technical support provided throughout the entire process by Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (HSB), an Authorized Inspection Agency (AIA) of the ASME, which ensured the rigor and authority of the review. Centered on the quality control system documents, the inspection covered all critical links of the whole process including design, procurement, production, welding and non-destructive testing. Under the overall coordination of the Chief Engineer, all professional teams collaborated closely. After a detailed verification, the joint review team gave a conclusion of "Recommend for Certificate Issuance".

         This certificate renewal is not only a systematic test of the company's technical strength and project management level, but also lays a solid qualification foundation for expanding the global high-end market.
