  Currently, tube-and-shell heat exchangers are widely used in process systems across industries in China, including petroleum, chemical processing, and power generation.
  
  The reason it dominates among various types of heat exchangers is that shell-and-tube heat exchangers are well-suited for demanding process conditions, such as high temperatures, high pressures, and complex media.
  
  Currently, most shell-and-tube heat exchangers in operation are traditional vertical segmental-baffle designs, which suffer from issues such as low heat transfer efficiency, short maintenance intervals, high energy consumption, and limited service life.
  Therefore, developing high-efficiency, energy-saving heat exchange equipment has become the primary challenge in advancing refrigeration and heat exchange technology.
  
  The spiral baffle structure used in the shell side of the helical baffle heat exchanger guides the medium to flow ideally in a spiral pattern through the shell, breaking away from the conventional lateral flow with multiple back-and-forth turns characteristic of traditional vertical bow-tie baffle heat exchangers on the shell side.
  Therefore, the heat exchanger's heat transfer performance, energy consumption, anti-fouling capability, and vibration resistance have been significantly improved.
