On March 31, 2020, Wuhan EPHE shipped its first product after resuming operations, marking a full recovery of production activities.

Following approval to reopen on March 19, the company swiftly organized staff returns, restored supply chains, and implemented pandemic controls. Despite challenges, adjustments were made to production plans to meet client demands.

The shipped product was a methanol synthesis water cooler (net weight: 84.5 tons, diameter: 2,100 mm), a critical static equipment for China Wuhuan’s 1-million-ton/year methanol project at China Coal Erdos Energy Chemical. The shell uses Q345R+S30403 clad steel, and heat exchange tubes are made of S22253 duplex stainless steel. Another key equipment, the feed gas preheater, is nearing completion and will be delivered in April.
