　　Recently, the methanol synthesis and sulfur recovery unit of the 1.7 million tons/year coal-to-methanol and conversion olefins project of Weibei Coal and Sinopec's equity company, Zhongan United Coal Industry Chemical Co., Ltd., officially started. The union was held at the methanol synthesis site. The project management department, the Nanjing Engineering Company Zhongan Project Department and the relevant personnel of the construction and construction unit participated in the opening of the trade union.
　　It is reported that the methanol synthesis and sulfur recovery unit was constructed by Nanjing Engineering Company and is an important part of the entire coal chemical project. Among them, the methanol synthesis plant has a production capacity of 1.8 million tons/year, the device is located on the west side of the first circulating water field; the sulfur recovery unit has a production capacity of 20,000 tons/year, and the device is located on the west side of the purification device and on the north side of the methanol synthesis unit. The Chinese diplomatic service was completed on October 30, 2018.
　　On June 1, the first and second circulating waterworks of the project were officially started. It is planned to be completed on July 31, 2018.
　　On May 26, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the second tender of the project coal gasification installation project.
　　On May 13, the project's 350,000 tons/year polypropylene plant was officially started, and Sinopec Fifth Construction Co., Ltd. was responsible for the construction.
　　On March 17, the Zhongan United Coal Chemical Engineering Purification Plant, which was built by Sinopec Nanjing Project, was started. This is the first new construction of the Zhongan United Coal Chemical Project. The installation is scheduled to be handed over on October 30, 2018.
　　The total target of the 1.7 million tons/year coal-to-methanol and olefin conversion project of Zhongan United Coal Industry Chemical Co., Ltd. is fully completed by the end of 2018 and the whole process is completed in June 2019. On December 7, 2016, the preparatory meeting for the resumption of work of the Zhong'an Coal Chemical Project was held, and the preparatory work for the resumption of work was arranged. On January 20, 2017, the Zhongan Project Resumption Work Conference was held in Huainan. The Engineering Headquarters read out the Notice on the Resumption of Construction of Zhong'an Coal Chemical Project (Petrochemical Stock Construction [2017] No. 6) and announced Zhongan United Coal Chemical Industry The project was officially resumed.
　　The Zhongan United Coal Chemical Integration Project is a key construction project of Sinopec and Anhui Province. Zhongan United Coal Industry Chemical Co., Ltd. was funded by China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation and Anhui Weibei Coal and Electricity Group Co., Ltd. with a 50% equity share. The registered capital was RMB 4 billion and was established on December 18, 2010. The core technology of Zhong'an United Coal Chemical Integration Project adopts S-MTO patented technology of Sinopec's independent intellectual property rights, and the gasification unit adopts SE-Oriental Furnace Technology of Sinopec's independent intellectual property rights. It uses methanol from Zhuji West Mine as raw material to produce methanol and converted olefins (LDPE/PP) and ethylene glycol (MEG). Sinopec Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. has contracted 6 MTO/OCC and PP units and 6 units of central control and 110 kV substations.
